Nephi Canyon

We usually go camping once a year with Chad's parents. This year we went up Nephi Canyon, to a campground called Ponderosa. Even though we were only able to stay up there for 1 night we still had a great time!

Big Bad Wolf

One of Jake's favorite things to do in preschool right now is play
with these little counting bears. Its so cute cuz they are different colors...
he usually carries 4 around. 2 red ones, a blue one, and a green one. He says
they are Mommy, Daddy, him and Ty. The other day Chad came and picked him up and
he cried and cried because I wouldn't let him take the bears home with him. I
know they are like his fav! so I told him if he was big and left them at school
to play with that I would try to figure out where to buy them so he could have
some at home. :D That night I came home and he wanted to go out to my car to
find the bears that I promised earlier. His other thing that he loves to do at
preschool is dress up. This boy will wear anything... Dresses, high heels, or
the big bad wolf! So the other day I was making lunch and he comes to the
kitchen and says "look at me!" I told him to come here so I could take a
picture. He ran back to class. These are the pictures I got.....

A night out...

So yesterday morning-ish my dad called me. I couldn't really understand cuz one of our phones kept cutting in and out. I could only really understand "E Center" and "Idol". So I kind of assumed that my dad won tickets to American Idol. Then I lost him.
As most of you know.. I got excited to hear those words because I LOVE AMERICAN IDOL. So I called my dad back. He told me that he got tickets at his work to go see the American Idol Live Concert Tour and his work had a suite. First words out of my mouth was something along the lines of "Are you going to take me?" He told me that he was taking my stepmom, Kellie. So I told him to tell her that he was just coming over to my house to help me with moving stuff. Then we could both go. He then told me that she already knew about the tickets. So I jokingly called her and told her that she shouldn't listen to my dad. :P I told her forget everything she had heard.. LOL! We got a pretty good laugh out of the whole thing... cuz I knew that I wasn't going to be able to go.
Well, later in the afternoon my dad called me back and asked me if I wanted to go to the concert. HAHA! What kind of question is that? I told him I didn't want to take his ticket.. but of course I would go if he wasn't going to go. But then I didn't want my sister, Sarah to be upset. Well to my bennifit she had a Migraine yesterday. Yeah, those suck.. but who wants to go to a loud concert with a Migraine? Soooo.. I told my dad that I wanted to talk to Chad about it first and I'd call him back. Chad was so sweet. He told me "Not only do you need to go.. you deserve to go!" awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! :D So I called my dad back and told him I would go.

We are sooo cool!

The last few days Jake has been obsessed with wearing sunglasses. I think it is because I'm always wearing them. When I'm not outside they are usually on top of my head. :D Jake has 2 pairs and he has been really good about sharing them with Ty. So this morning we were walking out the door getting ready to go to daycare and all 3 of us had our sunglasses on. I had to stop and take pictures

Happy Birthday Chad!

Today is Chad's 29th Birthday! Happy Birthday hunny!
I feel bad. I didn't get to do a whole lot for Chad because we are getting ready to move and we are saving all our pennys! So he got a few small presents. Then at his request I picked up some pizza from The Pie on my way home.. and also got him a cake. I didn't really get to take any pictures because I didn't want the house to burn down! lol of course I didn't put 29 candles. Just 2 on one side of the cake and 9 on the other. LOL!! Also his parents came over and had pizza and cake with us.
